A silver jewellery label went from WhatsApp and exhibition sales to 136 online orders in its first full month on Meta
21 to 136 online orders a month in the first full month of Meta ads
Where they started
Two years of selling through WhatsApp groups and exhibitions; an in-house team then spent a year trying to sell online — "we were struggling only" (founder, 26 August 2026). Earlier campaigns had been "focusing more on the product and not on our brand" (sales call, 9 July). An Instagram page of 4,500 followers, of which the founder put about 1,000 as organic; a Shopify store; "I do not know anything about marketing." Fee ₹40,000 a month for performance plus UGC (one quarterly invoice of ₹2,85,855 on 13 July 2026); ad spend capped at ₹2,000 to 3,000 a day for month one.
What Monastic Media did
- Seven KPIs posted daily on Slack and a weekly call; the founder handles inventory, listings and offline orders, nothing else.
- Twelve UGC videos in the July 2026 batch (kickoff 11 July) — "crisp and clear" (founder).
- Purchase campaigns by category (earrings, necklaces) with seven to eight days of automatic audience testing, then 1% and 2% lookalikes from 28 July (call, 4 August).
- Cancellation control: a ₹100 prepaid discount, high-risk COD orders flagged and confirmed before dispatch, city and state segmentation to cut fake orders (calls, 18 and 26 August).
- Homepage, landing and product-page fixes with the best-performing creative carried onto the site.
What changed
- Week to 4 August: ₹9,418 of spend, 19 purchases, ₹20,265 of purchase value; 215 add-to-carts, 57 checkouts (as reported on the call).
- 11 to 17 August: ₹10,000 of spend, 23 purchases, ₹27,000, 2.7x Meta-reported; after cancellations the media buyer put the week at about ₹15,000 net, "1.5 only".
- July 2026 (ads from late July): ₹9,066 of spend, ₹24,147 of store revenue, 21 orders (sheet).
- August 2026, first full month: ₹62,895 of spend, ₹1,37,854 of store revenue, 136 orders, ₹462 a order; Meta-reported ₹1,60,786, 2.6x (sheet). Om's expectation on 26 August of "about ₹1.5 lakh" for the month was met on Meta's number and came within ₹12,000 on the store's.
- Honest note: COD cancellations remained the limiting factor; net-of-cancellation figures are not on the sheet.
The target, as the client stated it
"I want to create a brand like Palmonas" and sell internationally once India is stable (founder, 26 August 2026). Immediate bar: "Break even... I don't have any problem in spending." First consistent orders: yes. Break-even after cancellations: not yet.
Status: partly reached.
The question this answers
"Everything is ready but nobody buys" and "I ran ads for months myself": 21 orders in the first partial month, 136 in the first full one.
