Analysis

What the numbers show

This electronics brand worked with us on Meta ads and marketplace management. When we started, it made ₹12.9L a month in revenue. 5 months later, in 2026, it made ₹1.55Cr a month.

Month 5 brought in ₹1.42Cr more than the starting month (+1,102%), 12 times where it began. The average rise was 64.4% a month.

Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend was ₹3.91 at the start and ₹4.00 in month 5, with monthly ad spend going from ₹3.3L to ₹38.8L. In short, revenue rose faster than ad spend.

  • New-customer ads. Most of the budget goes to the campaign that finds new customers. It carries the ads that have already proved they sell.
  • Return-visitor ads. Reviews, demos, offer reminders and catalogue ads for people who visited, added to cart or watched a video. Past buyers are left out.
  • Creative tests. New ads start in their own test on a small daily budget, so a weak batch never drags down the campaign that pays the bills.
  • Before big marketplace sales we cut the Meta budgets and move spend to narrower premium audiences, because those sales push up Meta costs.

Creative: how we run it and why

What we make

  • We make ad videos, creator videos, static images, carousels and catalogue ads.
  • On Amazon we run Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands with a short product video, and Sponsored Display for shoppers who viewed the product.
  • The Meta ads and the listing use the same names, images and claims, so the buyer knows it is the same product.
  • For electronics we show the product working on screen, such as a speaker playing next to a running timer.
  • We shoot vertical for Reels and Stories, with captions for people watching without sound.
  • Creator-style videos carry the testing, and a few polished lifestyle videos carry launches and premium products.
  • Gadget ads tire fast, so one hero video never runs for months.

  2. Catalogue ads27%
  3. Static images9%
  4. Creator videos3.8%
  5. Carousels1.6%

How we keep the winners and replace tired ads

  • The openings come at the buyer from different sides: the problem and its fix, curiosity, proof from other buyers and the plain benefit.
  • New ads go live in their own test on a small daily budget, with the same money for each idea.
  • We judge each idea after five to seven days, once it has spent two to three times the cost per purchase we agree with the brand.
  • When an ad is shown more often and fewer people click, it is wearing out. Its replacement goes live before it stops selling.
  • We change the smallest part that has stopped working. A new opening comes first, then a new middle, then a new idea.
  • Refreshed ads go up as new ads, so the old winner keeps selling while the new one proves itself.

Why we run it this way

  • Across the client ad accounts we have run, the top 10% of ads take 53% of the ad spend, and 3 in 4 ads stop running within a month.
  • Many buyers see the ad on Instagram and then check the marketplace for ratings and delivery date. A weak listing loses the sale the ad started.
  • On Meta the ad itself decides who sees it, so new ads are the main lever we have.
  • Ads tire, and one winner rarely lasts more than a few weeks at high spend.

How we run it, and how it works

For this brand we ran Meta ads and marketplace management for 5 months, with ad spend going from ₹3.3L to ₹38.8L a month. This is how we run it.

  1. Read the account first

    What we do

We get access to the ad account and the store, check that sales are recorded correctly, and read the past campaigns before we change anything.

  2. Proof on screen

    What we do

The product is shown working, with one claim per ad and the problem or the payoff in the first three seconds.

  3. A few campaigns, one job each

    What we do

We keep a small set of campaigns, each with one job. One tests new ads, one puts more money behind the ads that sell, and one brings back people who visited.

  4. Listings that sell

    What we do

Keyword-led titles, bullets and back-end terms, with images and A+ content that sell.

  5. Keep the terms that sell

    What we do

Terms that sell move into exact-match campaigns with their own bids. Terms that spend without selling become negatives.

  6. Bids follow stock

    What we do

Bids follow ACoS and stock. Low stock means lower bids, and ads pause on products that are out of stock.

  7. A report every week

    What we do

Sales, ads and stock, per marketplace, every week.

How it works

The team that runs the campaigns also writes, shoots and edits the ads, all in-house in Surat, so what the numbers show goes straight into the next ad.

Month by month

  1. Start

The month we started work with the brand.

    • Revenue ₹12.9L
    • Ad spend ₹3.3L
    • Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend ₹3.91
  2. Month 1

    • Revenue ₹21.2L
    • Ad spend ₹5.4L
    • Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend ₹3.93
  3. Month 2

The next batches of ads build on what won in the first month. Ads that did not sell are switched off, and the budget moves to the winners. Search terms are harvested, bids are tuned, and reviews and questions are answered. A scorecard each month compares the month with the last one and with the same month last year. • Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend ₹3.95
  4. Month 3

    • Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend ₹3.98
  6. Month 5 2026

The month opens with a review call that starts with what has not worked. Monthly revenue in month 5: ₹1.55Cr, 12 times the starting month.

    • Revenue ₹1.55Cr
    • Ad spend ₹38.8L
    • Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend ₹4.00

How to read these numbers

Monthly revenue means the brand’s revenue in a single month: ₹12.9L when we started and ₹1.55Cr in month 5 (2026).

Ad spend is what went into ads in the same month: ₹3.3L at the start and ₹38.8L in month 5. Revenue per ₹1 of ad spend is that month’s revenue divided by its ad spend: ₹3.91 at the start and ₹4.00 in month 5.

Month 5’s revenue divided by the starting month’s gives the times figure (12x). The average monthly rise from the start to month 5 is 64.4%. Total revenue is months 1 to 5 added up (₹3.63Cr).

Orders are revenue divided by the average order value (≈ ₹1,558). Clicks are ad spend divided by the cost per click (≈ ₹11.90), and ad views are clicks divided by the click rate (≈ 2%). Cost per order is ad spend divided by orders.
