Quickstart

Add the MCP servers to Claude Code, or to any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP:

All three use Streamable HTTP with JSON responses (POST only) and need no authentication.

Site questions: NLWeb and A2A

GET or POST https://www.monastic.media/ask answers in the NLWeb format (_meta, results with url, name, description and a schema.org object). Send Accept: text/event-stream or "prefer": {"streaming": true} for server-sent events.

POST https://www.monastic.media/agent/a2a is an A2A agent (JSON-RPC message/send, and SendMessage for A2A 1.0) that answers questions about Monastic Media from these pages, with links. Its card is /.well-known/agent-card.json.

Markdown for agents

Add .md to any page URL: /about.md, /services/seo.md. The homepage is /index.md.
Or send Accept: text/markdown to the normal URL.
https://www.monastic.media/?mode=agent gives the agent instructions.
Every markdown page starts with front matter: title, description, canonical URL and last update.

Discovery files

/llms.txt: The site map for AI tools, with when to use each endpoint.
/llms-full.txt: The plain text of the main pages and guides.
/services/llms.txt, /insights/llms.txt, /case-studies/llms.txt: One index per section.
/agents.md: Instructions for AI agents: what to use for which job.
/auth.md: Authentication: none is needed for any endpoint here.
/.well-known/ard.json and /.well-known/ai-catalog.json: One catalog of the MCP servers, the A2A agent and the agent skills.
/.well-known/mcp.json and /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json: The MCP servers and their server cards.
/.well-known/agent-card.json: The A2A agent card.
/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json: Agent skills (SKILL.md) for the ads audit, careers and the site.
/.well-known/api-catalog: RFC 9727 catalog of every endpoint above.
/agent-index.json: Title, summary and text of every page, for search.
/schemamap.xml: Structured data feeds (schema.org JSON lines).

Authentication and limits

None of these endpoints needs authentication. Please keep automated traffic reasonable; heavy use may be slowed down. The Ads Audit and Careers servers only write when the user asks: one creates a free audit, the other submits an application.

Questions

Do I need an API key or an account?

No. Every endpoint on this page is public and needs no sign-in, token or key.

Is there a REST API?

No. Agents connect over MCP, NLWeb /ask, A2A or plain markdown. There is no public REST API and no SDK.

Is pricing available to agents?

No. Monastic Media does not publish prices: every engagement is scoped on a call after an audit.
