Context
Where the brand stood
This client is an Indian business we ran campaigns for through the middle of 2024. In June their sales were just above ₹1 Crore for the month.
Om shared the five-month picture on LinkedIn in November 2024, right after Diwali, and our company page reposted it the same day. He called the run a revival, which tells you the business had ground to win back.
Problem
What was holding it back
Sales climbed from June to a peak of around ₹2 Crores in August. Then September dipped. The post calls it a small dip, but it came right before Diwali.
The job for October was to get sales moving up again and hold them there.
What we did
What we changed
Ran a Diwali sales push
October was built around Diwali. The post credits a well-executed Diwali sales approach for the revival.
Went after seasonal demand
We ran campaigns aimed at seasonal demand, the same pull that had lifted sales to the August peak.
Got the timing right
The post puts the result down to timing as much as to the ads: coming out of the September dip straight into the Diwali window.
Kept tuning into Q4
With sales back above ₹1 Crore, the next phase we described was fine-tuning campaigns to carry the momentum through the rest of the year.
The numbers
How to read these numbers
The chart shows the three months the post put a figure on. June was just above ₹1 Crore. August was the peak at around ₹2 Crores. October was above ₹1 Crore again after the September dip. The June and October bars sit at ₹1 Crore because the post says above, without a closer figure.
July and September have no figure in the post, so they are not shown. Across all five months, June to October, total sales came to ₹8.29 Crores. That total is the figure the post leads with.
Result
Where it ended up
Over five months the client's sales came to ₹8.29 Crores. After the September dip, the Diwali push put sales back on an upward run in October and held them above ₹1 Crore going into the end of the year.
For founders
What it means for a founder
Treat the festive season as its own campaign. October's lift here came from a sales push built for Diwali.
Do not panic over one soft month. September dipped, and October still brought sales back above ₹1 Crore.
Look at the total, not only the best month. A peak of around ₹2 Crores is one month. ₹8.29 Crores is what the five months added up to.
