Context
Where the brand stood
A home essentials brand selling towels, bedding and home decor had good products. Its marketing did not match them. The ads were awkward, forgettable and a little dull, and the results were weak despite the effort going in.
We shared the result on our LinkedIn page in January 2025. Our founder later shared the creative side of this work in March 2025.
Problem
What was holding it back
Scaling ad spend is easy. Scaling it with profit is where most brands struggle, and this brand was trying hard without the sales to show for it.
The ads did not stand out, so the spend was not turning into enough purchases.
What we did
What we changed
Read buyers and browsers
We looked at who was buying, who was browsing without buying, and what moved each group.
Tested hooks in a structure
Instead of going on gut feel, we ran structured A/B tests on 10 hooks, formats and messages.
Ads for each audience
Cold, warm and hot audiences each got their own creatives, so every ad fit where the person was.
Moved past static ads
We moved from static product ads to UGC, motion graphics and testimonial ads, with lines like "Your home deserves better, and so do you."
Backed the winners
Once ads were live we kept testing and refining them. When one worked, we put more budget behind it.
The numbers
How to read these numbers
The chart shows click-through rate. It went from 0.92% to 2.39% as the new creatives went live, while monthly ad spend ran at ₹75L+.
The headline we shared on LinkedIn was 75,000+ purchases in 30 days. Our website page listed the account figures: 86,245 purchases on ₹75,93,647 of ad spend at a ROAS of 7.55, a cost per purchase of ₹87.25, a cost per checkout initiated of ₹23.69 and a cost per landing page view of ₹8.67.
The brand also saw 2.5x more checkouts initiated and 3x more website visitors.
Result
Where it ended up
In a single month the brand passed 75K purchases, on ₹75L+ of monthly ad spend.
For founders
What it means for a founder
If you are spending but not scaling, look at your creative system before your budget.
Test hooks in a structure, not on gut feel. We ran structured tests on 10 hooks, formats and messages before putting money behind any of them.
Cold, warm and hot audiences need different ads. One ad for everyone fits no one.
